Below are small watercolour studies which I enjoy making while traveling along favourite routes.

These are quick exercises done traditionally or using an ipad or wacom pen tablet on Photoshop. My aim is to emphasise "character" moreso than a portrait would ordinarily likeness. They take 45 minutes on average to complete.
